How Do I Handle A Bad Report?
You go through life and you make a plan. Things are going well... until suddenly, you get a bad report. Life regularly throws us a curve ball—something we didn’t expect. It could be shocking information or a terrible diagnosis. The list is endless.

Maybe you have cancer and the doctor tells you the tumor has grown. Or worse yet, you were told it was gone and suddenly it’s back. Whatever the news, you must CHOOSE what you believe... before, during and after a bad report and not change based on something unexpected.

Faith is unmoved by circumstances. It looks beyond news reports or bad reports. If you don’t have faith in something greater than this natural world, then that’s where you have to start your journey. Until you have faith in some truth that is bigger than you, you will be tossed and turned by natural circumstances or bad reports. And that’s a very scary place to live.

God has something better for you. When I had cancer He gave me a promise right out of the Bible. The moment I read it I KNEW it was His promise to me. “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” It was true. I found my way of escape from cancer 21 years ago and have stayed cancer-free since.

You can get through the trial you’re facing. Don’t give up and don’t give in. Have faith!

God bless you,
